I’m so grateful you came to visit.

I’m here sharing my families activities as we strive for a simpler life. I love cooking, crafting, crocheting, children, schooling, and Jesus!

I have been married to my husband since 2007. We met in college and through him and a his family’s love of Jesus, I came to the saving knowledge of Christ’s salvation in 2006. I was a kindergarten teacher in a former life before children. Now I am a stay at home mama to 6 beautiful girls, and 1 baby boy.

I am here to share my family’s shenanigans as we strive for a life glorifying to God. I want to share our first and foremost  our passion for our faith (see below).

I also want to share my other passions, crafting, cleaning, hiking, schooling, and all things family related. Lord willing we will be able to find simplicity in all these passions and use them to glorify God! There is an art to homemaking and it goes far beyond the basics of house keeping, and I want to share my passion for that realm. As I learn to hone this art of homemaking join me and my family as we seek to bring glory to Christ in our home!

OUR FAITH

We believe that “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23) and that “the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23). But God loves us so much that He has shown mercy “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”  (John 3:16). And we do not have to remain in this state of sin, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”  (Romans 5:8).  There is a simple solution to our sin problem.“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”  (Romans 10:13) “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. ” (Acts 16:31) Call and believe and you will be saved. I pray each and everyone who comes to the site, can claim this promise and be filled with the joy and peace that comes from the indwelling spirit of the SALVATION of Jesus Christ.
